We'd already heard that Toyota and Tesla were working on some electric vehicle prototypes, and the two companies have now come out and officially confirmed that they are, in fact, working on an electric RAV4 crossover. What's more, Telsa says that it's already produced one prototype vehicle and plans to deliver a fleet of them to Toyota for evaluation "within this year," and that Toyota plans to bring the vehicle to market?

After totaling over 1850 votes, our Take Your Pet On The Road Contest is in the books. We had more than 40 people respond to our call to document pet adventures, and saw a wide range of (mostly) dogs enjoying the open road.  While there were ten winners in total, I'd like to point out our top five finishers and congratulate them on a job well done.

The race track rules were simple: Two wheel off the track and you get to cool your heals for about a half an hour in the penalty pit. Four wheels off the track and you are done for the day.
